This adsorbent is a weakly basic functional resin with a unique affinity for phenolic compounds and other organic pollutants in industrial wastewater. It demonstrates strong adsorption performance toward phenols, acids, amines containing aromatic rings or heterocyclic structures, and also shows effective adsorption of common organic compounds containing carboxyl, hydroxyl, and amino groups.
Targeted and Highly Selective Adsorption
Specifically designed for volatile phenol in phenol-containing wastewater
Particularly effective for high-concentration phenolic wastewater (volatile phenol: 1,000–30,000 ppm)
Wide Application Range
No pretreatment of wastewater required
Other components such as sulfur, ammonia, and inorganic salts do not affect adsorption performance
Excellent Adsorption Efficiency
Volatile phenol removal rate reaches 97–99%
Long Service Life
Adsorbent can be regenerated and reactivated after saturation
Activation cycles can exceed 100 times
Large Saturated Adsorption Capacity
Saturated adsorption of volatile phenol reaches 0.5–1.0 g/g
Simple Regeneration Process
Regenerated using alkaline solution
Can be reused continuously after in-situ regeneration within the adsorption column
High Phenol Recovery Rate
Regeneration liquid can be directly recovered and sold to downstream sodium phenolate recovery manufacturers
Phenol recovery rate can reach up to 80%
Low Project Investment
Requires only special stainless steel adsorption reactors
Low equipment cost
Low Operating Cost
Treatment cost: 10–30 RMB per ton of wastewater, depending on phenol concentration
