Modified Isocyanate Crosslinker BN-PC02-24 is a high-performance multifunctional polymeric aziridine crosslinker designed to enhance the chemical and mechanical properties of water-based coating systems. With low toxicity and excellent compatibility, it is suitable for applications in industries requiring high durability and compliance with food-contact standards.

Physical Features

Solubility

BN-PC02-24 can be slowly added to a stirred water-based formulation, preferably with a pH higher than 7.5.
It is easily dispersible, does not form precipitates, and may be diluted with organic solvents or water depending on formulation requirements.

Proposed Uses

• Suitable for acrylic resins containing carboxyl groups, polyurethane resins, and related systems

• Applicable in coatings, inks, and finishing varnishes for:

  • Plastic packaging films

Method of Application

The addition of 4–8% by weight of BN-PC02-24 significantly enhances the chemical and mechanical performance of carboxylic-acid-functional aqueous acrylic emulsions or polyurethane dispersions, including:

• Water resistance

• Alkali resistance

• Alcohol resistance

• Oil resistance

• Scratch resistance

• Abrasion resistance

Packaging & Storage

• Packaging: 25 kg plastic barrels or user-specified packaging

• Storage conditions:

  • Store indoors in original, unopened, and undamaged containers

  • Dry environment at 5–40 °C

  • Avoid direct sunlight

• Shelf life: 6 months from the date of production under original packaging conditions

• Safety classification: Non-flammable and non-explosive, but slightly corrosive; classified as general dangerous goods
