Proposed Uses

  1. Suitable for acrylic resins containing carboxyl groups, polyurethane resins, and related systems

  2. Widely used in:

    • Water-based inks and paints

    • Heterocyclic compounds synthesis

    • Pharmaceutical raw materials and intermediates

Method of Application

  • Can be added directly or after dilution with solvents or water free of active hydrogen

  • Typical dosage: 1–3% of resin solid content; up to 5% may be used depending on performance requirements

  • Forms coatings with enhanced solvent resistance after curing

  • pH has a significant effect on the crosslinking rate:

    • Optimal pH range: 9.0–9.5 for emulsions

    • Best performance achieved when multi-aziridine crosslinkers are added within this pH range

Important Notes:

  • Aziridine compounds are highly sensitive to active hydrogen groups

  • Avoid contact with acidic substances and strong oxidizing agents

Packaging & Storage

  • Packaging: 25 kg plastic drums or user-specified packaging

  • Storage conditions:

    • Store in a dry, cool, dark, tightly closed, and high-temperature-resistant environment

    • Avoid contact with acids and oxidizing agents

  • Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production under original packaging conditions

  • Safety classification: Non-flammable and non-explosive, but slightly corrosive; classified as general dangerous goods
