Product description

Vinyl methyl oxazolidinone as a reactive diluent has a number of technical advantages:

 

1. It is a liquid at room temperature, with very low viscosity of about 4 mpa s. It enables the preparation of low viscosity and almost odorless formulations compared to conventional raw materials.

2. It is characterized by high copolymerization reaction activity with acrylate. The monomer has excellent adhesion properties on all common substrates even at low doses.

3. The color of the final prin product and the coating can be made bright.

4. The toxicology profiles are an additional benefit. Compared to traditional products, the "Serious health hazard" and "Acute toxicity" labels are not required according to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) classification.

Common application areas

1. Organic synthetic intermediate

It can be used as an intermediate in synthetic organic synthesis and is used for preparing other organic compounds.

2. The application of material chemistry

It can be use for preparing functional polymer such as coupling agent, surfactant, plasticizer.

Proposed use

1. Adhesive field: It can be used as a reactive diluent in UV-curable adhesives. Characterized by high copolymerization reactivity with acrylate. The monomer has excellent adhesion properties on all common substrates even at low doses;

2. Coating field: As reactive diluent in UV curing coatings, it has high copolymerization reactivity with acrylate. The monomer has excellent adhesion properties on all common substrates even at low doses. The high Tg may improve the toughness and resistive properties of the cured film.

3. Ink field: It can be used as a reactive diluent in UV curable inks, such as digital UV printing and 3D printing. In addition to low toxicity, improved adhesion to low energy surfaces, 3D printing applications benefit from improved mechanical properties.

Packaging & storage

Packing specifications: 25Kg plastic drums, 180Kg plastic drums or user-specified packaging. This product is stored in a dry, cool, closed condition. The storage period of the product under the original packaging conditions is 12 months from the date of production; It should be stored separately from the oxidant, edible chemicals, avoid by all means mixed storage. Keep the container sealed. Keep away from fire and heat source. Avoid direct sunlight.
